Shipping:
S/H rates for all destinations in the U.S.A. are based on shipment via USPS 1st Class in a padded envelope if package weight is under 8 ounces, or USPS Priority in a box if package weight is above 8 ounces.
S/H rates for all foreign destinations (D-G.com ships world-wide) are based on shipment via USPS Airmail Letter or Parcel Post in a padded envelope if package weight is under 8 ounces, or in a box if package weight is over 8 ounces.
S/H rates for all destinations in the U.S.A. INCLUDE insurance against damage or loss in the amount of your total purchase price (including S/H) and USPS Delivery Confirmation. S/H rates to foreign destinations DO NOT INCLUDE either insurance or Delivery Confirmation.
Shipment will generally be made on the next business day after receipt of payment. For PayPal® e-checks "receipt" means clearance, usually 4 business days.
If shipping to Virginia, payment of sales tax is required. If the purchase is for an exempt purpose and you provide a Virginia sales tax number on a signed exemption certificate, any sales tax paid will be refunded after receipt of the signed exemption certificate.
Title to any goods passes to you upon shipment. Shipment means deposit in the U.S. mail or delivery to any common carrier for shipment.
Customs declarations will reflect the actual price paid, exclusive of S/H.
Combined Shipping:
If you are buying multiple items, S/H charges at check-out might be slightly overstated because shopping cart S/H is based upon the total of each item's packaged (envelope or box) weight.
For instance, this may happen because an item which normally ships in a padded envelope weighing 2 ounces won't affect the total S/H charge when combined with an item which ships in a box weighing 1.75 pounds. The actual shipping weight of two 2 pound items may be only 3 pounds because only one box is required. The actual shipping weight may be overstated by a pound if combining 5 or 10 or 15 items which weigh only a few ounces each because each item weight included an ounce for a padded envelope and the actual box used weighs less than the total weight added for individual padded envelopes.
I would prefer that absolutely accurate combined S/H charges could be generated in every single case by my shopping cart software, but it's simply not possible to do at any reasonable cost when dealing with items weighing anything from an ounce to 20 pounds and and millions of possible combinations of physical volumes which range from less than a cubic inch to 10 cubic feet.
In any case, if you are placing an order for more than one item, any combined S/H charge will never be more than that charged by my shopping cart software, and may be less.
If there is any excess S/H reflected in the shopping cart total which you have paid, I'll refund it to you after I have determined the actual S/H charge for your combined shipment, whether your order is for two or 200 items. .
